Submit a robot
Know a humanoid robot Botlero doesn't have yet?
Tell us its name and, ideally, a link to the maker's own page. This does not publish anything — it adds a name to a list the site's maintainer reviews by hand, the same starting point every robot currently on the site began from.
What actually happens to this
Nothing you submit here becomes a robot page. Every value Botlero publishes has to pass the same four checks described on the About page — a quote that is actually on a fetched page, a value inside that quote, the right type and unit, and a page that is actually about that robot. A name typed into a form has none of that behind it yet, so treating it as a source would break the one rule this site is built around.
What this form is: a lead. The name goes into a short queue the maintainer reads and, if it looks real and not already covered, turns into a normal candidate for the pipeline above — the manufacturer's site is found, fetched, checked, and every value that survives the gate gets its own citation, exactly like the robots already on the site.
Before you submit
- Check it isn't already here. Search the current catalogue first — a robot already on the site does not need a second suggestion.
- A link helps the most. The manufacturer's own product page is worth more than a description, because it's what the pipeline needs to find and fetch.
- Generations and editions matter. If you know it's a specific variant, generation, or configuration (not just the base name), say so in the note — this site has been bitten before by two different robots sharing one name.
- No guarantee, no timeline. Botlero is a self-funded, one-person project (see About). A suggestion may take a while to be reviewed, or may not be added at all — some robots have no maker page worth trusting, or belong to a company whose terms don't permit the kind of automated reading this pipeline does.
Found a wrong value on an existing robot instead? That's a correction, not a suggestion — here's the route.
