Humanoid robot records 2026

The highest and lowest value published for 10 measurements across the 31 humanoid robots documented here. These are records of what sources state, not verdicts of ours: every row carries the page the figure came from, a verbatim quote from it and the date it was checked, and clicking a value shows all of them.

How these records are decided

the criterion, before the rankings

Each robot contributes one value per measurement: the figure this site publishes for it, which is the maker's own where a maker's page states one, and otherwise the value the most sources state. Where two sources disagree, the robot's own page shows both and this page ranks on the one it publishes — the chip on every value below says who stated it.

A measurement earns a section when at least 75% of the catalogue publishes a value for it (24 of 31 robots today), and never on fewer than 3 values. That threshold is a share rather than a flat count on purpose: 40 further measurements are published by some robots but not most, and a ranking of those would be a ranking of the makers who happened to disclose rather than of the field. They are listed at the foot of this page with their own counts.

Ties are printed, never broken. Robots that publish the same value share a rank and are all shown, even where that pushes a section past 5 rows — this site has no tie-break to apply that would not be an invented ranking. Bars show magnitude against the largest published value of that measurement; the colour marks the record holder and means nothing else. Nothing here is a category: country, manufacturer and lifecycle stage are not magnitudes and are not ranked — they are hub pages instead.

Payload as a share of body weight

29 of 31 publish both

The only derived record on this page: rated payload divided by the robot's own weight, computed here from the two published values rather than stored as a specification. The two numbers divided are the two printed beside each share, so the arithmetic is checkable. 29 of the 31 robots publish both, and a robot publishing a range rather than a figure for either one is left out, because a range has no single number to divide. Where a maker states a payload or a weight as a maximum, a minimum or an approximation, the share is marked ~ and is no more exact than the figure it came from.

Most specifications published

of 195 registry keys

This one is a record about disclosure rather than about the robots: how many of the 195 specifications this site tracks have at least one sourced value. A robot with fewer published specs is not a worse robot — makers differ in what they publish — and how the count is built is on the method page.

What is not ranked here, and why

40 further measurements are published by at least 3 robots but by fewer than 24, so they have no section: dof head (23), width (20), dof waist (19), ai compute (18), battery capacity (18), dof per leg (18), battery energy (17), depth (14), joint torque (per joint) (14), peak payload (13), charge time (12), max joint torque (12) and 28 more. Every one of those values is still published, sourced and quoted on the robot's own page, and each will appear here by itself once enough of the catalogue carries it.

Country, manufacturer and lifecycle stage are categories rather than magnitudes, so there is nothing to rank: they are hub pages. There is no overall score, no weighting and no composite index on this page or anywhere on this site — a single number claiming to rank a robot would be a verdict we have no measurement for. And safety standards are not ranked: a certification is a scoped claim about a part or a subsystem, which the robot's own page shows in its own words.

Nothing here is a recommendation. For a side-by-side of two robots see compare; for every value a robot publishes, with its sources, see the robot's own page.
